This Privacy Policy explains how Samba (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and stores information when you use the mobile game Samba.

Samba is developed by Knanzo Games (Sweden).

1. Information You Provide

When using the app you may provide:

Game progress
Support messages (if you contact us)

Your username and progress may be visible to other players through the in-game leaderboard.

We do not collect real names, addresses, emails or phone numbers unless you voluntarily include them in a support email.

2. Information Collected Automatically

The app automatically collects limited technical information necessary for the game to function:

Device type
Operating system version
App version
Crash reports
Basic gameplay events (progress, level completion)

This data is used only to operate and improve the game.

3. Purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases.

All payments are processed securely by Apple App Store.

We:

Do NOT receive payment card details
Do NOT store billing information

We only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed.

If you delete your account, consumable items (such as hints) are permanently removed.
Non-consumable purchases (Ad-Free) can be restored using Restore Purchases.

4. Advertising

The free version of the app displays ads provided by Google AdMob.

AdMob may process:

Advertising identifiers
Device information
Ad interactions

This processing follows:

Your consent choices
GDPR (EU)
Apple App Tracking Transparency rules

You may change ad consent at any time inside the app under Privacy Settings.

5. Services We Use

The app relies on trusted third-party services:

6. Data Storage

Game data (username, progress, hints) is stored securely in cloud servers (Firebase).

We only store the minimum information required for the game to function.

We do not sell personal data.

We do not use data for profiling or tracking outside the game.

7. Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time inside the app.

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Username
Progress
Hints
Stored game data

This action cannot be undone.

Ad-Free purchases can later be restored via Restore Purchases because they are linked to your Apple ID, not your game account.

8. Children’s Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Ads shown to users in regulated regions follow applicable child-protection and consent rules provided by Apple and Google.

9. Legal Basis (EEA/UK)

For users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, data processing is based on:

Legitimate interest — operating and improving the game
Contract — providing game functionality
Consent — personalized advertising (where required)
